Overview of SECTOR
Battery storage is fast becoming a crucial component of the suite of global renewable energy solutions.
Storing electrical energy in power banks when it is abundant on the grid and releasing it back to the national grid, or locally to a specific facility or microgrid, is one of the primary enablers of the intermittent naturally-occurring renewable energy resources, mainly wind and solar.
