Overview of SECTOR

A biomass-fired power plant produces electricity and heat by burning biomass in a boiler. The most common types of boilers are hot water boilers and steam boilers. Wood chips, residues and other types of biomass are used in the boilers in the same way as coal, natural gas and oil.

Though the process of generating large volumes of electricity from biomass is relatively new, APC has already amassed a database of experience in this field of technology. We can offer a full Engineering, Procurement and Construction service to clients in the 5 to 300MW CHP Market. We can also provide a full installation and commissioning service for the larger Biomass Plant Designs.
