Overview of service

Major overhauls of hydroelectric power stations at Lee Station, Carrigagrohid, Co. Cork and Leixlip Station, Co. Kildare, Ireland.

Services provided:

Overhaul of Lee’s 8MW Voith vertical Kaplan Runner and 36 pole Siemens Generator
Overhaul of Leixlip’s 4MW Escher Wyss vertical Kaplan Runner and 20 pole Brown Boveri Generator
Support the Kaplan Runners prior to disassembly of the Generator Rotor
Disassembly of Generator to include splitting of the Generator to Turbine Shaft
Removal of the Generator Rotor from the unit to enable inspection and testing
Reassembly of the generator and turbine
